"I have taken Jessica's yoga classes at Zen & Yoga in Forest Hills, NY for almost five months on a regular basis. Jessica is an exceptional yoga instructor -- she explains and demonstrates poses very clearly and provides adjustments as needed. Her demeanor is very calm, welcoming and assuring but her classes were always challenging and really focused on performing poses correctly, not just going through the flow, which I believe is extremely important to prevent injuries. In the last class I took with her, one of the last poses was headstand which was initially a very scary thought to me and I'm sure many others in the room. Jessica talked us through the process and broke it down simply so all levels were able to practice the pose in different variations. The experience was challenging and rewarding once it was over but still very safe due to the levels of variations provided.
